Debtor Reports - Aged Trial Balance

The debtors Aged Trial Balance is used to display each debtor with an outstanding account balance, with the debtor's outstanding invoices aged into their respective periods. The periods depend on the debtor's terms and can be setup for periods that are (normally) aged from the end of the month, but could be 7 days, 14 days, etc.

  1. Select REPORTS | DEBTOR REPORTS | AGED TRIAL BALANCE.

Micronet displays the Aged Trial Balance screen.

  1. Select ORDER and then select one of the following options to choose the order in which you want the report sorted:

Micronet places a tick beside the selected option.

  1. Select FILE | RUN REPORT.

Micronet displays the Select Report screen with a list of report layout options created in the Report Generator.

  1. Select a format for the report then select Ok.

Micronet displays a User Defined Questions screen, which differs depending on the report layout you selected. This screen shows the User Defined Questions screen for the Customer Simple report layout.

  1. Enter or select the starting and ending values for the report (e.g. debtor IDs, debtor names or sales territories).
  1. Select the Ok button.

Micronet displays the Select Output Device screen.

  1. Select whether you want the report displayed on screen, printed, saved to a specific type of file, faxed, or emailed in a specific format.

Micronet prints or displays the Aged Trial Balance in the selected sort order and selected report layout.

  1. If you selected to view the report, select the Drill button on any red text to display additional detail, e.g. the individual outstanding transactions on a customer's account.

You can keep drilling on the new report displayed if it contains red text, e.g. to view the individual invoice details including the items sold to the customer.
